We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our production standards by designing, implementing, and overseeing rigorous inspection protocols. You will act as the final line of defense, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets both internal specifications and international quality benchmarks. Beyond simple inspection, you will analyze data trends to identify systemic issues, collaborate with production teams to rectify deviations, and champion a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence Inspection & Verification: Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments and standardized testing methodologies.Trend Prediction: Analyze historical defect data to perform Predictive Maintenance and preemptive process adjustments. Process Monitoring: Implement and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor production stability and identify potential quality drifts before they result in defects. Defect Management: Document non-conformities and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions using tools like 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams to eliminate recurring issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive quality logs, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and prepare weekly quality performance summaries for management. Standards Compliance: Ensure all operational processes align with ISO 9001 (or industry-specific) standards and assist in internal/external quality audits. Supplier Quality: Evaluate vendor-supplied materials and coordinate with procurement to resolve quality disputes or material inconsistencies. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to reduce scrap rates, minimize rework, and optimize resource utilization.
