Our expertise includes OCTG Services, API & Premium Connection Rethreading, Machine Shop Manufacturing, Repair, Bucking Operations, Welding, Hard banding, and related workshop and field services.Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead all Quality Control activities across workshop and field operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all inspection, testing, manufacturing, repair, welding, and threading activities fully comply with customer specifications, API standards, and company quality requirements while leading a high-performing quality team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all Quality Control Engineers, Supervisors, and Inspectors.Develop and implement inspection and testing plans for all operational activities.Oversee quality control activities related to OCTG, Machine Shop Manufacturing, API & Premium Connection Rethreading, Repair, Bucking, Welding, Hardbanding, Cleaning, and Field Services.Ensure compliance with API specifications, ISO requirements, customer specifications, and Premium Connection standards.Supervise dimensional inspection, thread inspection, welding inspection, NDT coordination, and final product release.Review and approve inspection reports, quality dossiers, certificates, and final release documentation.Ensure calibration, traceability, and control of inspection and measuring equipment.Coordinate customer inspections and third-party inspection activities.Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and field failures while leading RCA and CAPA activities.Monitor QC KPIs and implement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and quality costs.Collaborate closely with QA, Operations, Engineering, and HSE teams to improve product quality and operational performance.Develop and mentor QC personnel to ensure technical competency and operational excellence.Regular travel to company workshops and operational sites is required. Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 8–10 years of Quality Control experience within the Oil & Gas or Petroleum Services industry.Minimum 5 years leading QC teams.Strong experience in OCTG inspection, Premium Connections, Machine Shop Manufacturing, Threading, Welding, Hardbanding, and inspection activities.Excellent knowledge of API 5CT, API 5B, API Q1, ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, AWS, and inspection requirements.Experience working with customer inspectors and Third-Party Inspection companies is highly preferred.ASNT Level II, AWS-CWI, CSWIP, or equivalent certifications are considered an advantage.Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.Willingness to travel regularly between the Head Office and operational sites.Personal SkillsStrong leadership and team management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail.Effective communication and customer-facing skills.Ability to perform under pressure.Strong commitment to operational excellence.
