The Regional Specifications Data Lead is accountable for R&D specification data readiness, quality, and alignment across MENAI in preparation for, and during, Nova 2 deployment.This role owns the end-to-end specification data stream for the region — ensuring that raw material, intermediate, packaging, and finished product specifications are fit-for-migration, aligned to global templates, and compliant with Nova data standards.The role sits within R&D, working closely with Product, Packaging, Process, Regulatory, and Quality teams, and acts as the single point of accountability for regional specification data.Key Responsibilities1. Specification Data Readiness & Governance (MENAI)Own the MENAI specification data readiness Lead the review and assessment of as-is specifications versus templates and mandatory data fields.Define and manage the regional data clean-up, enrichment, and completion strategy.Ensure alignment to global specification standards and governance defined by the PLM Product Owner and Global RDQ teams2. Data Migration Preparation & ExecutionAct as R&D lead for specification data migration activities within MENAI.Ensure specifications are complete, accurate, and approved prior to migration waves.Coordinate with:Technical Data Migration LeadIT / Integration teamsExternal partners (TCS)Support testing, defect resolution, and data validation cycles during migration events.Own sign-off of migrated specification data from an R&D perspective.3. Business Process Alignment & Fit-Gap SupportSupport Fit–Gap assessments by:Providing regional specification insightsHighlighting local deviations, constraints, or risksEnsure specification structures reflect agreed process-to-be design.Support template validation and regional adaptation decisions where required.4. Cross-Functional R&D CoordinationWork closely with regional R&D Product, Packaging, Process, Regulatory, and SQSE owners to:Collect and validate inputsResolve data gapsDrive timely approvalsAct as the R&D interface between:Regional teamsGlobal Nova governanceImplementation partners5. Risk Management & ReportingIdentify and escalate data-related risks (quality, completeness, resourcing, timing).Provide regular status updates to:MENAI Nova governanceRegional Enablement LeadSteerCo, when requiredContribute to mitigation planning for data readiness and migration risks highlighted at SteerCo level.
