Publication date : May 20, 2026, 10:25AMPurpose of the jobYou will be part of a team of several Quality of Service and Radio Optimisation engineers, where you will be responsible for carrying out RAN engineering studies (quality monitoring and optimisation) for subsidiaries involved in the REC, and ensuring the consistency of the configuration and activation of 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G (and soon 6G) radio features over time. You will also provide support to subsidiaries involved in the REC to ensure the technological evolution of existing radio sites through the management of technology trials and the implementation of Group recommendations to meet our customers' expectations in terms of improving Radio Quality of Service. In terms of ongoing activity for our customers, you will participate in the analysis of drive tests and the operation of automatic optimization tools (C-SON) to continuously improve Radio performance.Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Quality of Service and Radio Optimization Engineer, the main activities will include: Analyzing the network's key performance indicators and proposing solutions to resolve the problems detected.Implementing the engineering rules and recommendations in terms of configuration and Group features in the subsidiaries on an annual basis (audit and then support for trials and implementation)Supporting the subsidiaries in local trials on the technological developments of the radio network.Analyzing drive tests and call traces periodically as part of QoS campaigns, or on request as part of cluster acceptance (new sites, trials, swaps, etc.)Regularly auditing the radio configuration (including MSP operational audits) and implementing radio optimization automation functions (operating C-SON tools in accordance with Group recommendations)Level 1 support for the subsidiaries for radio optimization, to assist the local teams with local optimizationJob specificationEngineers with 1 to 10+ years of experience French speakers or Fluent English SpeakersWith a background in mobile telecommunications engineering, You have at least 2 years of experience and you have the Following Skills : Business skills Ability to listen and understand customer needsAbility to convince, manage and rally people Ability to work in functional relationships with experts from other organizations and countries Technical Skills Very good knowledge of the architecture and interfaces of mobile networksVery good knowledge of the main radio procedures (Selection, reselection, handover, paging, CSFB, VoLTE, etc.)Very good knowledge of the 3GPP standards and of the L3 protocol messagesVery good knowledge of the radio engineering of 2G/3G/4G/5G access networks and of the operational issues and the operation of these networksConfirmed skills in the various radio engineering trades: optimization, troubleshooting, tools.
