Job SummaryWe are seeking a Receivable Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s accounts receivable. This includes issuing customer invoices and credit notes, recording and allocating customer payments, reconciling customer accounts, monitoring aging, and supporting collection efforts in coordination with the Sales department to minimize overdue balances.Key Responsibilities:• Record and process customer payments, ensuring that all payments are accurately posted to the correct customer accounts.• Ensure that payments match corresponding invoices and reconcile discrepancies promptly.• Prepare and issue credit notes for returns, discounts, or adjustments, following proper authorization and ensuring accurate recording.• Collaborate with sales to follow up on overdue payments and implement strategies to reduce outstanding debt.• Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments, invoices, and credit notes are accurate.• Prepare reports on accounts receivable, highlighting overdue accounts and any actions taken to control debt• Support the month-end close by reconciling the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and preparing related schedules.• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.Qualifications and Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ERP systems.• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of transactions.• Exposure to AI tools in finance or Accounts Payable functions is preferred.
