Regulatory & Permitting Officer

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Permitting Officer to manage permitting processes and secure approvals for infrastructure works. The role involves close coordination with authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting timely project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Manage permitting processes for infrastructure works (roads, utilities, developments)Coordinate with government authorities to obtain required approvalsEnsure compliance with local regulations and approval requirementsTrack permitting timelines and maintain accurate recordsReview submissions for compliance before authority approvalsCoordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on documentationIdentify and resolve permitting issues or delaysProvide regular status updates to project teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field (Mandatory)Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Law, or Project Management (Preferred)10–12+ years in permitting and regulatory rolesExperience in PMC/Consultancy environment preferredBackground in infrastructure projects and authority approvalsExperience handling multiple permits across large-scale projects
