This combination of global presence and flexible, customer-focused operations enables Aller Aqua to support and enhance the performance of its customers’ aquaculture businesses.Aller Aqua is looking to hire a Research Officer in Egypt to conduct and monitor feeding trials to support our research efforts in Egypt.Job purpose and impact:The candidate will ensure the smooth operations of research trials in Egypt to strengthen Aller Aqua’s knowledge base and brand in Egypt in line with the company strategy. This entails the implementation of trials and the conduction, correct data collection, and reporting thereof of on-site trials and feed performance on selected partner sites.Overall, this position aims at intensifying our research efforts for the Egyptian aquaculture sector and the R&D Department, strengthening our brand in Egypt and the region by increasing our internal technicalknowledge base.Core responsibilities:Execution of trials and their detailed documentationCommunicate progress and results clearly and systematically to internal stakeholdersInvestigation and reporting of respective local feed and fish market Conduct all work in compliance with local environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Sciences, or related fieldsVerbal and written Arabic and advanced English skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-propelledTrack record of practical experience in fish farming or aquaculture operationsBasic familiarity with MS ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Sciences, or related fieldsVerbal and written Arabic and Native-level proficiency English skillsResearch experience in commercial background Project management skills Advanced familiarity with MS-OfficePreferred Residence Areas:Candidates residing in Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, or Sharqia are highly preferred.Why Aller Aqua?At Aller Aqua we believe in providing opportunities for growth and development.
