Category Strategy & P&L: Full ownership of assortments, pricing, offers, and supply while monitoring sales, gross margin, and P&L consistency.Assortment & SKU Discipline: Maintain strict SKU counts to match warehouse/store capacities, implement layered liquidation for slow-moving stock, and introduce controlled branch localization (Gifting, Impulse, Daily shopping scenarios).Procurement & Supplier Management: Select and negotiate with local/international suppliers (costs, payment terms, lead times) and sync requirements with regional/HQ teams.Pricing Governance: Set prices for local/imported items ensuring total alignment across all touchpoints (System = Label = Cashier).Financial & Landed Cost Auditing: Partner with Finance/Customs to track container landed costs (VAT, freight, FX rates) down to the SKU level, and investigate abnormal margin deviations (pricing, shrinkage, or system logic).Promo & Campaign Management: Develop the promotion calendar, design margin-protected offers, submit forecasts to replenishment/warehouse, and translate complex rules into simple store instructions.Ops Coordination & Analytics: Provide input on warehouse/store flows, fixtures, and templates. Conduct post-activity analysis to resolve negative trends like post-promo sales drops or high returns. Experience: 5+ years in Category Management/Merchandising with large retailers (FMCG, Lifestyle, Fashion) within a multi-branch network.Supply Chain Mastery: Practical experience balancing international imports with local procurement, plus a strong understanding of Egyptian customs clearance workflows. Experience leading cross-functional projects (Finance, Ops, Logistics) and mapping inventory/margin logic onto ERPs (Odoo/SAP). Highly structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven. Willing to handle urgent operational crises or work on the warehouse floor when needed to protect cash flow.Ability to align multiple departments, interact with senior executives, and manage expectations.Fluent English and Arabic (written and verbal).
