In this role, you will primarily engage with job seekers who are laid off or open to work, understand their career goals, and help match them to relevant hiring managers and openings. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting brief intake conversations, reviewing profiles or résumés, identifying suitable employers, and facilitating introductions or referral-based connections. You will coordinate direct chats between candidates and hiring stakeholders, maintain accurate records of interactions, and follow up to ensure a positive experience for both sides. Collaboration with internal team members to refine matching criteria, share market feedback, and improve outreach processes will also be part of your responsibilities. QualificationsExperience in recruiting, talent sourcing, or career services, with the ability to assess candidate profiles and align them with employer needs.Fluent EnglishStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear written and verbal communication, and a supportive, professional demeanor.Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms, such as video conferencing, CRM or applicant tracking systems, and online networking tools.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple candidate interactions, track referrals, and manage part-time responsibilities effectively.Demonstrated empathy and commitment to helping individuals in career transition, with a focus on fairness, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices.Prior experience working with job seekers, outplacement services, or community employment programs is a plus.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-changing hiring landscape.
