As we continue to scale our international operations, I am looking for a Head of Sales who brings both leadership excellence and deep industry-specific expertise to our team.This is a pivotal role for our growth. We need a leader who understands the complexities of the botanical export market, from moisture standards to international certifications, and has the track record to turn global leads into long-term partnerships.Role DescriptionAs the Head of Sales, you will lead and oversee global sales operations, develop strategic business opportunities, and manage a high-performing team. You will manage a lead-generation pipeline while taking direct responsibility for the final conversion of leads into signed contracts. Your industry knowledge will be essential in ensuring that all specifications and certifications meet the rigorous demands of our international clientele.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth: Lead sales operations to meet and exceed revenue targets through aggressive business development and market expansion.Lead-to-Contract Ownership: Oversee the lead-generation pipeline and take direct ownership of the negotiation phase to secure long-term supply contracts.Industry Expertise: Apply your knowledge of product suitability, moisture/oil standards, and international certifications (Organic, Halal, Kosher, etc.) to facilitate successful deals.Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers post-sale to enhance client satisfaction and brand loyalty.Performance Leadership: Set measurable sales goals, monitor key performance metrics, and mentor the sales team to foster a high-performance culture.QualificationsIndustry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically within the herbs, spices, or botanical export industry is required.Leadership Mastery: Proven skills in Sales Operations, including team management and the ability to guide a team from prospecting to closing.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry essentials, including product grading and global regulatory documentation (BRC, FSSC 22000, etc.).Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
