Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant specializing in functional support to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of SAP FICO modules by providing expert functional support, resolving system issues, and aligning SAP functionalities with business requirements.Key Responsibilities:Functional Support:Provide end-to-end functional support during new module implementationsAct as the first line of support for incidents, training, and troubleshooting for end-usersOffer day-to-day functional support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and ControllingQuickly troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues to minimize system downtimeCollaborate with business users to understand financial processes and recommend process improvementsAssist in the implementation of system enhancements and updates based on business requirementsCoordinate with external consultants and support vendors to analyze, resolve, and test complex issuesUser Training and Documentation:Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of SAP FICOCreate and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including process flows, user guides, and FAQsAudit and Reporting:Provide data and reports for internal and external audits as neededSupport financial reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely deliveryMonth/Year-End Closing and Upgrades:Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all processes run smoothlyLead or support migration and upgrade projects, ensuring successful transitions with minimal disruptionsQualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in SAP FICO functional supportExperience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferredTechnical Skills:In-depth understanding of SAP FICO modules and their configurationsBasic knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD)Proficiency in SAP reporting tools and transaction codesKey Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamDetail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, efficient solutionsPreferred Certifications:SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting (SAP FICO)Additional certifications in SAP S/4HANA or related modules are an added advantageWork Environment:The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP FICO modules meet business and operational needs.
