General DescriptionWe are supporting a leading consulting organization on a large-scale digital transformation program within the banking sector and are currently looking for experienced Scrum Masters to join the engagement on a contract basis.This role will focus on driving Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams, supporting the development and enhancement of modern digital banking platforms, including customer-facing applications, APIs, and core service integrations.You will play a key role in enabling high-performing Agile teams, ensuring effective collaboration between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.This is a Freelance / Contract engagement with strong potential for extension, supporting a critical Everyday Banking transformation initiative within a fast-paced, enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) • Work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog • Drive Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles across teams • Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth and continuous delivery • Track team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.) • Support release planning and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders • Enable effective communication between engineering teams, product, and business stakeholders • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality • Support Agile transformation efforts and scaling practices (e.g., SAFe, multi-squad coordination) • Ensure alignment of delivery with business goals and timelines.Required Skills & Experience• Minimum 5–10+ years of total experience, with strong focus on Scrum Master / Agile delivery roles • Proven experience working in Agile environments within enterprise or large-scale digital programs • Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing cross-functional teams • Strong experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies • Experience working with technical teams (APIs, microservices, digital platforms) • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.Preferred / Nice to Have• Experience in banking, fintech, or digital financial services • Exposure to digital banking platforms (mobile apps, onboarding, payments, etc.) • Experience in Scaled Agile environments (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning) • Background working with consulting-led or enterprise transformation programs • Experience supporting multi-squad or distributed team delivery.Engagement DetailsLocation: New Cairo, Egypt Contract Duration: Initial 6–12 months (extendable) Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance Work Setup: Full onsite
