The SEO Specialist will optimize client websites for search performance through comprehensive keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical reviews. Daily responsibilities include conducting SEO audits, identifying opportunities to improve rankings, and implementing best practices across content, metadata, site architecture, and internal linking. The role also involves planning and executing link-building initiatives, monitoring performance using web analytics tools, and preparing clear reports and recommendations for internal teams and clients. The Specialist will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure that SEO requirements are integrated into custom website projects from concept to launch.QualificationsStrong skills in keyword research and search intent analysis to guide content and optimization decisions.Proficiency in SEO audits and on-page SEO, including technical reviews, metadata optimization, and site structure improvements.Experience with ethical link building, outreach strategies, and off-page SEO techniques.Hands-on experience with web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword and ranking tools) to measure and report performance.Solid understanding of core SEO concepts, including crawlability, indexation, page speed, mobile optimization, and user experience.Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and translate findings into actionable optimization plans.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, development, and marketing teams.Prior experience in an agency or digital marketing environment, especially with custom website projects, is an advantage.Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, SEO trends, and best practices.
