Participating in this project could be a pivotal milestone in your career and a significant historical achievement for the region.Today, we are recruiting for a Section Lead Engineer to join our Project Delivery team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.What are my responsibilities?Manage and coordinate Package 1 progress across rail alignment corridor, stations, service points and depot, reporting directly to the Delivery Director and driving execution toward completion milestones.Establish and maintain a robust communication network with key stakeholders involved in Package 1 activities (NAT, GARB, consultants, contractors, and internal teams).Ensure strict configuration control by verifying that all site teams are working from the latest approved drawings.Deliver structured weekly progress reports, supported by photographic evidence, detailing advancement across all assigned site elements.Coordinate site access readiness with Package 1 teams and provide accurate forecasting updates.Facilitate smooth transition to Package 2 activities by coordinating with Technical LOTs, Civil Joint Ventures (CJV), and other contractors once site access is granted.Monitor and follow-up on Package 2 site interface activities and installation, including signaling & communications (SIG/COM), Siemens sub systems, ensuring alignment with project target schedule, and quality standards.Collaborate proactively with High-Speed Rail site engineers and multidisciplinary project stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.What do I need to qualify for this job?Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Knowledge of Railway Station Installation (Station Fit Out, Multiple discipline installation, cable pulling, asset installations and understanding installation priorities between disciplines).5+ years of experience in station installation & delivery of complex mobility & railway projects.Be willing to travel and work between the project sites of the High-Speed Rail Project in Egypt (Marsa Matruh to Ain Sokhna).Pro-active, confident, health & safety focused and independent with a self-starter attitude.Fluent in both written and spoken English.Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.What else do I need to know?As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate - all thanks to our employees.
