The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to analyze financial performance, manage cost allocations across business divisions, and provide accurate, timely financial reports to support decision-making. The role also involves improving accounting processes, supporting audits, and mentoring junior accounting team members.QualificationsStrong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and familiarity with local GAAP and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control within multi-branch or multi-division businesses.Solid understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance procedures in a corporate environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, or retail is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in New Cairo and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-focused business environment.
