Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends; provide insights to the Finance Manager.Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.General Ledger Management:Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee depreciation schedules.Compliance & Tax:Ensure all accounting activities comply with Egyptian Accounting Standards and local tax regulations.Prepare and file monthly tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, etc.).Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure all documentation is provided accurately.Project & Operational Support:Monitor project-specific expenditures and provide cost-benefit analysis where necessary.Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Assist the Finance Manager in high-level strategic planning and ad-hoc financial projects. Requirements & Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant or equivalent role.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certifications (CMA, CPA, or DipIFR) are a significant advantage.Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).Strong experience with Odoo. Deep understanding of Egyptian Tax Law and labor regulations.Soft Skills:High level of integrity and professional ethics.Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.Excellent communication skills for internal reporting.Location: Preference will be given to candidates residing in Maadi or nearby surrounding areas to ensure office-wide efficiency.
