Job SummaryThe Accounting Section Head is responsible for supervising the accounting team and managing daily accounting operations, particularly within an outsourcing environment. The role ensures the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting while handling multiple client accounts and supporting financial decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team. Oversee bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Manage accounting operations for outsourced clients and ensure service quality. Review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Experience with ERP & ODOO systems. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions. Coordinate with internal departments and external clients regarding financial matters. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies. Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors when required. Train, guide, and evaluate accounting staff performance.Preferred SkillsExperience with ERP & ODOO systems. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an outsourcing environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Experience in managing multiple client accounts is a plus. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
