You will be part of a visionary, customer-focused team with an ambitious mission--to become a trailblazer for digital retail within the Middle East.ResponsibilitiesTranslate designs and wireframes into high-quality codeContribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges. around developer and engineering productivity and velocityDesign, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code using Kotlin, Java, Fastlane, GradleEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsUnderstand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsHelp in decision making and mapping out necessary to refactor code blocksHelp in maintaining code quality, automation and organizationRequirementsBachelor's degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subject is a must5+ years' experience in developing Android mobile appsSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycleDeep understanding of android engineering principlesSolid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, most used design patternsGood Understanding of clean architectureDeep knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Fastlane, GradleStrong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesFamiliarity with restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningKnowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasksProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with continuous integrationDeep knowledge of Android Architecture patterns like MVP/MVVM/MVIExperience with Dependency Injection or Service locatorFamiliarity with Android JetpackExperience with reactive programmingBenefitsOffice environment: When you come to our b_labs office, you'll find creative workspaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and an open design to foster collaboration between teams.Education budget: We believe the learning journey never ends, therefore you will be entitled to an annual education budget to take part in trainings, courses or onsite conferences of your choice.Flexibility: You know best whether you want to work from home or in the office.
