Job DescriptionThe Senior SAP EWM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced warehouse management solutions within SAP S/4HANA or decentralized EWM environments. The role involves technical leadership, complex developments, and close interaction with functional teams and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical design and development of SAP EWM solutionsDevelop custom enhancements using:ABAP Objects (OO)BAdIs, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit EnhancementsRF Framework, PPF, MFS (if applicable)Design and build interfaces (IDoc, RFC, REST/OData via SAP Gateway/BTP)Optimize warehouse processes performance (putaway, picking, wave, yard mgmt)Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSupport integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, TM, PP) and external systems (WCS/WMS)Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor juniorsLead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis in hypercare/AMSContribute to solution architecture and effort estimationRequired Skills6–10+ years in SAP development, with strong focus on EWMDeep expertise in:SAP EWM architecture (Embedded / Decentralized)ABAP OO and performance tuning (HANA optimized coding)Experience with:RF developments, PPF framework, EWM enhancementsDebugging EWM standard classes and function modulesKnowledge of S/4HANA and SAP BTP integration patternsFamiliarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) Soft SkillsStrong leadership and mentoring capabilityClient-facing communication skillsProblem-solving and decision-making autonomyEducationDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
