Role DescriptionGBS Financial Advisory is seeking a Senior Auditor for a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for planning, performing, and supervising audit engagements. Daily tasks include assessing financial statements, identifying risks, testing internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and preparing detailed audit reports. Collaboration with team members and clients will be essential to support decision-making based on solid financial insights. QualificationsDeep understanding of auditing procedures, risk assessment, and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis tools, and financial systems.Knowledge of regulatory compliance, tax regulations, and industry best practices.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interactions.Ability to lead audit teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects effectively under tight deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIA is highly preferred.Prior experience in auditing or assurance services; knowledge of Egyptian and Gulf regulatory environments is a plus.
