We are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on social media and digital content to lead content creation, planning, and execution for Spark Education Platform and its network of schools.This role is ideal for a hands-on content expert who can think strategically, own content calendars end-to-end, and translate brand and business objectives into engaging, high-performing content across digital and social platforms. The role requires fluency in both Arabic and English, a strong editorial mindset, and experience managing content across multiple brands or accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & PlanningDevelop and own comprehensive content strategies and content calendars for SEP's corporate channels and individual school accounts across social and digital platformsTranslate brand, enrollment, and communication objectives into clear content themes, pillars, and storytelling anglesEnsure a consistent tone of voice and visual direction aligned with corporate and school brand guidelinesContent Creation & ManagementCreate, edit, and publish high-quality content including social posts, captions, reels, short-form videos, stories, carousels, and digital copyOversee day-to-day execution of content calendars, ensuring timely publishing and platform-specific optimizationAdapt and localize content for different schools, audiences, and platforms while maintaining brand cohesionSocial Media & Community EngagementManage and grow social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTubeMonitor comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring timely and appropriate engagementSupport social listening and handle sensitive issues or crisis communication in coordination with internal stakeholdersPerformance Tracking & OptimizationTrack content and social media performance using analytics tools and platform insightsAnalyze KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, and conversionsProduce regular performance reports with insights, learnings, and content optimization recommendationsCampaign & Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport and execute content-led campaigns for brand awareness, school launches, enrollment, and community engagementCollaborate closely with admissions, school leadership, marketing, and communications teams to surface stories, achievements, and key momentsCoordinate with external agencies, videographers, photographers, or freelancers when requiredRequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field3-4+ years of experience in content marketing or social media roles, ideally within education, lifestyle, or multi-brand environmentsProven experience managing content calendars and content execution across multiple accountsFluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills for digital and social platformsDeep understanding of social media best practices, trends, and platform nuancesExperience with content scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics)Ability to create or brief basic visual and video content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple brands, calendars, and priorities simultaneouslyPersonal AttributesStrategic yet hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityCreative, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying content opportunitiesPassion for education and community impactStrong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
