The team focuses on delivering tailored financial insights that enable sustainable growth and long-term value creation.Role DescriptionThe Senior Corporate Finance Analyst will provide in-depth financial analysis and support for M&A transactions, corporate finance engagements, and strategic projects. This contract role is fully remote (with occasional travel if needed) and involves preparing and reviewing financial models, conducting valuations, and analyzing financial statements to assess business performance and transaction viability. The analyst will collaborate with advisors and clients to develop financial forecasts, evaluate investment opportunities, and support negotiations by delivering clear, data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial reports and presentations, supporting due diligence activities, and contributing to strategic financial management recommendations for clients across various sectors.You will work directly with senior management on live client engagements, gaining exposure to business valuations, M&A transactions, financial modelling, strategic advisory, due diligence and equity research across a broad range of industries.QualificationsStrong corporate finance, financial planning and financial modelling skills, with the ability to build and interpret detailed financial models and forecasts.Advanced analytical skills for evaluating business performance, investment opportunities, and transaction structures.Experience in financial reporting, including preparing management reports, dashboards, and client-ready analytical materials.Experience in conducting market, industry and company research.Prepare financial analysis and equity research reports on listed companies, including extracting, validating and analysing publicly available financial information.Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms) to improve research, financial analysis, reporting and productivity.Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools; familiarity with valuation methodologies.Previous experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking or financial advisory.Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and/or professional certifications (e.g., FMVA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, CPA).Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a fully remote, video-first environment with regular Zoom meetings, and demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
