Senior Cost Accountant – Trading & Import Business

Connectalents, a leading Recruitment & HRO company in MENA, is currently hiring a Senior Cost Accountant for a leading Cairo-based logistics, supply chain, and international trading company.Job Role:Manage full-cycle accounting for trading and import operationsRecord and reconcile import-related transactions (customs duties, freight, insurance, clearing charges, etc.)Monitor inventory accounting, valuation, and cost of goods soldPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, customs, and regulatory requirementsHandle bank reconciliations, supplier accounts, and foreign currency transactionsCoordinate with customs agents, banks, auditors, and tax consultantsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementReview and improve internal controls and accounting processesSupervise junior accounting staffWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.3-5 of accounting experience, with strong exposure to the trading/import industry.Sold understanding of import/export documentation and costing.Experience with Odoo (mandatory)Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Very good English (written and spoken)Strong analytical and problem solving skills.High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.How to Apply:Please send your CV to logein.e@connectalents.com
