This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of performance apparel and lingerie through advanced knitting engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical analysis of customer requirements and translate them into advanced knitting programs.Develop, validate, and optimize seamless knitting programs on Santoni machines to deliver superior product quality and fit.Establish and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, style files, and machine settings for scalability.Oversee pilot and production runs, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure first-time-right execution.Drive continuous improvement by introducing machine-specific innovations that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge-sharing across the team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with customer expectations, cost targets, and strategic goals.Champion innovation in seamless knitting, exploring new yarn applications and techniques to strengthen competitive advantage.Demonstrate strong people-handling skills, foster teamwork, and effectively manage challenging situations.Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in seamless product development, with hands-on expertise in Santoni TOP2, TOP2V, and TR machines.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical projects from concept to production.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across design, sourcing, and operations.Proven ability to manage teams, resolve challenges, and deliver results under pressure.Experience working with global apparel brands is a significant advantage.Fair knowledge of yarns (filament, synthetic, natural) and dyeing techniques is highly desirable.Knowledge of sewing construction methods will be considered an added advantage.
