Job SummaryThe Senior Façade Sales Aluminum Engineer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, engineering custom-tailored technical proposals, and securing commercial contracts for structural aluminum and glass façade systems. The position serves as a senior-level technical consultant to real estate developers, top-tier main contractors, architects, and façade consultants. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development: Proactively hunt and secure high-value packages including aluminum curtain walls, unitized systems, spiders, and composite panel cladding. Technical Consultation: Review complex architectural drawings, structural inputs, and tender documents to offer cost-effective aluminum system recommendations. Tendering & Estimations: Collaborate with the estimation and technical office teams to prepare accurate commercial bids, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and proposal documents. System House Liaison: Work alongside global aluminum system houses (e.g., Technal, Schüco, Alumil) to adapt standard profiles to specific project wind loads and thermal criteria. Relationship Management: Nurture an active network of developers, procurement managers, and specialized design consultants to ensure the company is short-listed for upcoming tenders. Contract Negotiation: Lead high-level technical and financial negotiations to finalize scope, payment terms, and project timelines prior to hand-off. Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8+ years of technical sales or design estimation experience specifically within the architectural aluminum and glass façade industry.Industry Network: A strong, pre-existing network of regional tier-1 contractors, structural consultants, and real estate developers.Software Proficiency: High familiarity with AutoCAD and structural tools, along with specialized aluminum estimation software (such as Orgadata LogiKal or ReynaPro) Core Competencies & SkillsTechnical Mastery: Deep comprehension of wind-load calculations, thermal values (U-factors), glazing combinations, and structural silicone mechanics.B2B Negotiation: Proven ability to manage long, complex commercial sales cycles involving multi-million dollar construction scopes.Communication: Exceptional presentation skills to deliver technical presentations, defend engineering proposals, and coordinate across production and installation teams
