Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Real Estate Investment Fund team and lead primary research initiatives that drive deal sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio strategy across our diversified REIT platform. This role sits at the intersection of rigorous market intelligence, financial analysis, and investment decision-making. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical capability with intellectual curiosity and the ability to translate complex data into actionable investment recommendations.About the FundMNT Halan and Azimut have jointly licensed a Multi-Tranche Real Estate Investment Fund designed as a capital market platform to originate and house diverse real estate investment opportunities. Through specialized tranches, the fund connects targeted investor groups with curated real estate assets, enabling retail, HNW, and institutional investors to access income-generating or appreciation-driven opportunities. Our investment mandate spans core real estate asset classes—office, retail, and short-term rental/hospitality as well as unconventional asset classes including renewable energy, agri-business, logistics, and others. The structure provides developers and asset owners with flexible capital solutions, allowing them to operate, partially or fully divest, refinance, or reacquire assets while optimizing their cost of capital and unlocking value from existing or new developments.Key Responsibilities· Lead in-depth market research and thematic analysis of the Egyptian real estate sector to identify actionable investment opportunities.· Formulate data-driven investment thesis integrating macro, sector, and asset-level insights to guide REIT strategy and capital deployment.· Continuously monitor supply-demand dynamics, rental benchmarks, and absorption trends to inform underwriting assumptions and market positioning.· Build and maintain institutional-quality financial models for assets and portfolios, incorporating leasing strategies, operator structures, and capex planning.· Execute advanced valuation and underwriting analysis (DCF, income capitalization, comps, and sensitivities) to assess entry pricing, returns, and downside risk.· Produce decision-grade financial analysis and documentation, enabling senior management to evaluate investments, exits, and capital allocation.· Oversee portfolio performance analytics across assets and operators, with a focus on yield optimization, NOI growth, and risk identification.· Deliver IC-ready reports and investor materials synthesizing financial performance, key metrics, and clear investment recommendations.· Partner cross-functionally with property’s manager, finance, and legal teams to support transaction management and execution.Qualifications• 2-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, advisory, or private equity.• Demonstrated track record of conducting primary research and translating market intelligence into investment recommendations.• Proficiency in financial modeling skills, including DCF, real estate valuation methodologies, and portfolio-level analysis.• Deep knowledge of Egyptian real estate markets; MENA or emerging markets experience is a plus.· CFA (minimum level one), CAIA, or related designations are a plus.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, persuasive narratives for senior stakeholders and investors.
