Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & WellnessRole OverviewThe Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial health and growth of Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & Wellness. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across clinics and service lines, ensuring accurate financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements for clinic operations, ensuring accuracy and complianceLead month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisDevelop and manage budgets and forecasts for clinics, departments, and service offerings; track performance against targetsAnalyze revenue, cost per visit, payroll, and operating expenses to support profitability and efficiency improvementsBuild and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs related to clinic performance, utilization, and marginsProvide clear analysis of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to support leadership decisionsPartner with clinic managers, operations, and leadership to support planning, performance reviews, and cost control initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencySupport audits, compliance, and internal controls in line with healthcare and business requirementsPrepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support growth initiatives, new services, or expansion plansQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of experience as financial analyst at least 1 year of experience in accounting, or FP&A, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or service-based organizationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with accounting and financial systems (QuickBooks or similar)Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsEffective communication skills and the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, patient-focused environmentPreferred Experience & SkillsExperience working with multi-location clinics or service-based businessesUnderstanding of healthcare revenue cycles, payroll-driven cost structures, and operating marginsExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planningHigh attention to detail, ownership, and accountabilityProcess improvement and automation mindsetCore Financial & Accounting ExpertiseEnd-to-end month-end close managementAccruals, journal entries, and reconciliationsStrong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysisVariance analysis and financial performance monitoring
