A Financial Analyst studies a company’s financial data to support investment decisions, planning, forecasting, and financial control, delivering data-driven insights to management and stakeholders.Lead monthly financial analysis and reporting for transportation/logistics operations, including cost analysis, lane profitability, and equipment utilization. Analyze key cost components.Collaborate with operations, fleet management, and Commercial teams to refine pricing and improve margin performance by commodity type.Support annual budget planning, prepare rolling forecasts, and execute variance analysis. Identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities from large datasets and present actionable insights to leadership. Develop and maintain dashboards, variance reports, and management presentations to support strategic decision-making. Ensure alignment of financial processes with company policies and industry best practices. 1–4 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, McLeod) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting large datasets and solving complex business problems.Effective communicator with a collaborative approach across functions.Preferred but not mandatory: CPA, CFA, or MBA pursuits; logistics or freight brokerage background.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
