Role DescriptionThe Senior HR Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Egypt. The role is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on HR systems, payroll, employee compensation, commissions, deductions, penalties, attendance, social insurance, and employee records.The role will oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle, including salary calculations, attendance and overtime, commissions, incentives, deductions, penalties, advances, and other employee-related payments, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing.The Senior HR Operations professional will also be responsible for maintaining and improving HR systems and employee databases, ensuring that employee information, contracts, attendance, leave, payroll data, and personnel records are accurate and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the HR system / HRIS, ensuring accurate and updated employee data, personnel files, contracts, attendance, leave, and employee records.Manage the full monthly payroll process, including basic salaries, allowances, overtime, commissions, incentives, bonuses, deductions, penalties, advances, and other payroll adjustments.Calculate and validate sales commissions and incentive schemes in coordination with Sales and Finance teams.Review attendance, lateness, absenteeism, overtime, leaves, and other variables affecting payroll.Ensure accurate application of deductions, penalties, loans, advances, and employee settlements in accordance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliation reports and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.Maintain accurate records related to social insurance (التأمينات الاجتماعية), including employee registration, updates, cancellations, and monthly insurance requirements.Ensure HR processes and payroll practices comply with Egyptian labor laws and social insurance regulations.Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, salary changes, resignations, terminations, and final settlements.Coordinate with Finance to reconcile payroll, commissions, deductions, and employee financial obligations.Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and payroll information.Prepare regular HR and payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics to support management decision-making.Support the implementation, enhancement, and automation of HR and payroll systems and processes.Conduct regular audits of employee data, payroll calculations, attendance records, and personnel files to identify and resolve discrepancies.Support inventory / stock-taking (الجرد) processes where HR involvement is required, including coordinating employee attendance, manpower allocation, temporary staffing, and related administrative requirements.Coordinate with department heads and management regarding workforce requirements, attendance, performance-related incentives, commissions, and employee issues.Handle employee relations matters professionally and ensure proper documentation of disciplinary actions, warnings, and penalties.Coach and support HR team members on HR operations, payroll procedures, systems, and company policies.Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reduce manual work, and increase payroll and HR data accuracy.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.Strong experience in HR Operations, Payroll, HRIS, and employee administration.Hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll processing, including salaries, commissions, incentives, deductions, penalties, overtime, and settlements.Strong understanding of Egyptian labor law and social insurance regulations.Experience handling sales commissions and incentive calculations is highly preferred.Strong Excel skills and experience working with HR systems, payroll systems, or HRIS platforms.Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.Experience with employee records, attendance systems, personnel files, and HR reporting.Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations; experience in retail, consumer goods, toys, entertainment, or distribution is an advantage.Strong communication, problem-solving, and employee relations skills.High level of confidentiality, professionalism, accuracy, and integrity.Ability to work on-site in Egypt and manage multiple priorities effectively.
