Job Title: Warehouse and Inventory SeniorDeliver Egypt’s first High Speed Rail Service with DBEE. DBEE is a joint venture between DB International Operations and Elsewedy Electric. DB International Operations provides rail operations and maintenance worldwide; Elsewedy Electric, global energy and infrastructure solutions provider. Together, we combine strong local capabilities with proven global railway expertise to enable efficient, safe and sustainable passenger and freight mobility on Egypt’s first High Speed Rail network.We are looking for you as early as possible as Warehouse and Inventory Senior for DB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt for the primary location Cairo.The role:Responsible for ensuring that every maintenance team across the Egyptian High-Speed Rail network — spanning 21 stations, a depot complex, and multiple service points — has the right spare parts and materials available at the right place and time. The role owns the full inventory lifecycle from first-fill programme delivery through to day-to-day stock management, warehouse operations governance, and procurement coordination, directly managing three field teams totalling over 20 staff. Operating within DBEE's ISO 55001-compliant Asset Management System, the role is the single accountability point for materials readiness and acts as the primary interface between the Planning & Logistics function and the DBEE Procurement Team.Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end spare parts first-fill programme across all HSR stations, depots, and service points, ensuring materials are in place before operational handoverOwn the spare parts management strategy: min/max stock levels, replenishment triggers, AVL governance, and obsolescence managementManage and performance-direct three direct-report teams: Warehouse & Inventory Supervisors, Storekeepers/Kitting Supervisors, and the centralised ExpeditorOversee warehouse operations at all sites — storage conditions, FIFO/shelf-life controls, housekeeping, and HSE complianceAct as the single DBEE procurement focal point: coordinate with the Procurement Team, drive AVL compliance, and maintain lead-time data in the CMMSDirect the Expeditor to fast-track critical and emergency spare parts; resolve supply chain disruptions before they impact maintenance deliveryOwn CMMS inventory module accuracy — real-time stock positions, AVL data, goods receipt processing, and master data approvalsProduce monthly inventory and warehousing KPI dashboards and report to the Planning & Logistics ManagerEnsure all procurement activities comply with contractual sourcing requirements; escalate AVL deviations through the MoC processContribute warehousing and material-supply data to the AMC management review cycleQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role within a large infrastructure, rail, or facilities O&M environmentDemonstrated experience managing a first-fill programme for a major capital project or greenfield facilityProficient in CMMS platforms, such as SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent, specifically inventory, purchasing, and master data modulesStrong knowledge of spare parts management principles: criticality-based stocking, min/max logic, FIFO, shelf-life control, and obsolescence managementExperience managing and developing multi-disciplinary warehouse teams across dispersed, multi-site operationsProven track record managing procurement interfaces and supplier performance, including expediting and customs/import coordinationFamiliarity with ISO 55001 asset management principles and the role of inventory management within an AMSProficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken, required for NAT interface and site operationsPMP, CIPS, APICS CPIM, or equivalent supply chain/logistics certification is an advantageGeneral Information:DB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
