The role centres on tenant representation – lease renewals, relocations, expansions, strategic property searches, negotiations, and tenant relationship management – while also supporting broader local brokerage activity and, where mandated, landlord-side leasing assignments on a project or asset basis.Responsibilities of the role:1. Tenant Advisory & Real Estate RequirementsAct as the primary point of contact for GOS tenants, understanding their real estate needs (offices, retail, industrial).Conduct in-depth consultations to assess tenant requirements, including location preferences, size, layout, budget, and business objectives.Provide market insights and trends to help tenants make informed decisions.2. Lease Renewals, Relocations & ExpansionsManage the end-to-end process for lease renewals, relocations, and expansions for GOS tenants.Proactively track lease expirations and engage tenants early to discuss renewal options.Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, property management) to ensure smooth transitions.Lead the site search, negotiation, and lease-up process for companies entering the market or acquiring new space, from initial requirement scoping through to lease signature.3. Property Search & Tenant ShortlistingConduct comprehensive market research to identify available properties that meet tenant criteria.Prepare and present a long list of potential options, including comparative analysis (rental rates, locations, amenities).Arrange and lead property viewings, ensuring tenants evaluate the best-suited spacesAssist tenants in shortlisting viable options based on their business needs.4. Lease Negotiations & Commercial TermsInterpret and explain complex lease agreements, including rent structures, lease duration, tenant improvements (TI), and exit clauses.Negotiate favourable terms on behalf of tenants, focusing on:Rental rates & incentives (rent-free periods, step-up clauses).Lease flexibility (early termination, expansion rights).Fit-out contributions & maintenance responsibilities.Work closely with landlords, developers, and legal teams to finalize agreements.5. Lease Processing & ApprovalsOversee the documentation and approval process, ensuring compliance with GOS policies.Liaise with legal, finance, and procurement teams to expedite lease execution.Maintain accurate lease records in tracking systems.6. Tenant & Landlord Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with GOS tenants, ensuring high satisfaction.Address tenant concerns promptly and propose solutions to enhance retention.Identify opportunities for repeat business and portfolio growth within GOS properties.7. Project Tracking & ReportingMaintain and update lease trackers, CRM systems, and dashboards for real-time reporting.Provide regular updates to management on lease status, renewals, and market trends.8. Local Brokerage & Landlord Leasing MandatesSupport and originate local brokerage opportunities across office, retail, and industrial asset classes in the Egyptian market, including agency-side introductions and deal facilitation.Where secured, act on landlord leasing mandates – including letting strategy, marketing positioning, tenant sourcing, and lease-up negotiation on behalf of asset owners.Maintain clear separation between tenant-side and landlord-side mandates in line with C&W's conflict-of-interest and information-barrier protocols, escalating any potential conflicts to management before engagement.Contribute to building C&W's broader agency and landlord relationships in Egypt to complement the core occupier services pipeline.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in leasing, tenant representation, or a related field within the commercial real estate sector; exposure to landlord-side leasing or agency brokerage is an advantage.Proficiency in data analysis tools, CRM systems, Excel, and lease management software.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to various audiences.Deep market knowledge of Egypt's commercial real estate landscape.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.Additional InformationAt Cushman & Wakefield Core, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and we strive to create a collaborative working environment and a community supporting your career growth.
