Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will act as the main technical owner for all mechanical maintenance activities across the university, supported by the existing supervisors, technicians and service providers.The scope of this position will include, but will not be limited to:HVAC systems, including chillers, VRV, VRF and split units. Elevators and vertical transportation systems. Pumps and pumping stations. Water supply and drainage systems. Ventilation, fresh air and exhaust systems. Mechanical firefighting systems, in coordination with the concerned departments. Other mechanical assets and utility systems across the university. The recommended candidate profile is as follows:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and facilities management. Strong practical experience in HVAC systems, especially chillers, VRV, VRF and split units. Previous experience in elevator maintenance follow-up, contractor coordination, recurring-failure investigation, safety requirements and load-testing procedures. Strong experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. Ability to review technical reports, quotations, spare parts and contractor recommendations. Experience in CAFM/CMMS systems, work-order management and maintenance reporting. Previous experience in large facilities such as universities, hospitals, hotels, malls, airports or similar complex operations is preferred.
