Senior MEP Site Engineer

Oversee and supervise MEP installation activities on-site, ensuring the work is carried out according to design specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.Ensure that all work is being executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations.Liaise with other site engineers (civil, structural, and architectural) to ensure smooth coordination of MEP installations.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.Ensure quality control standards are met during the installation and testing of all MEP systems.Conduct regular inspections to verify that work is progressing as per the project schedule.Ensure all work is compliant with local building codes, regulations, and standards.Supervise the installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation), electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarms), and plumbing systems (water, drainage, sewage).Ensure all systems are tested and commissioned properly before handover.Prepare and maintain daily site reports, including work progress, challenges, and any changes in scope.Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance documents.Report to the project manager or senior MEP engineer on site progress and issues.Implement and enforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members and contractors adhere to safety guidelines.Ensure all MEP works are carried out in a safe manner with proper risk assessments and preventive measures.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.Work closely with the design team to address any design discrepancies or modifications.Participate in the final inspection and commissioning of MEP systems.Ensure all documentation for system handover is completed, including warranties, manuals, and as-built drawings.
