We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage, secure, and optimize mission‑critical Oracle database environments supporting key banking applications.📝 Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 5–7 years of hands-on experience—preferably within the banking or financial sector.The ideal candidate will handle high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and security within regulated environments.🔧 Key Responsibilities🗄️ Administer & maintain Oracle database environments (Production, DR, UAT, Dev).🏦 Support mission-critical banking application databases with high availability.⚙️ Implement & maintain Oracle RAC and Data Guard solutions.📊 Perform performance tuning, query optimization & capacity planning.🔐 Handle RMAN backup/recovery & ensure regulatory compliance.🛡️ Manage database security, encryption, auditing & access control.♻️ Support upgrades, patching & migrations.🐞 Troubleshoot issues & deliver root‑cause analysis.🤝 Work closely with application, infrastructure & security teams.🤖 Implement monitoring & automation tools.📚 Maintain documentation according to banking standards.📞 Participate in on-call support & incident management.🎓 Required Qualifications🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.💼 5–7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.🏗️ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 11c/12c/18c/19c+.💾 Experience with high-availability environments.🧩 Strong experience with RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.🏦 Experience in banking/financial or regulated industries.🚀 Strong performance tuning & troubleshooting skills.🔐 Experience with database security & encryption.🐧 Good Linux/Unix knowledge.🧠 Strong SQL / PL-SQL skills.📡 Experience with monitoring tools (OEM or equivalent).⚡ Experience with Oracle Exadata.🔄 Experience with patching, upgrades & migrations.🏅 Preferred Certifications🥇 Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)🥈 Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)🥇 Oracle Certified Master (OCM) – Preferred☁️ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Database Certifications – Plus✨ Additional Skills🔍 Strong analytical & problem‑solving skills.👥 Ability to mentor junior team members.🧘 Ability to work under pressure in critical banking environments.🔄 Ability to multitask & manage priorities.💡 Preferred Experience⚡ Oracle Exadata🔐 Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) & key management📈 Enterprise monitoring tools (OEM or similar)🐧 Linux / AIX skills
