We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient *Senior Pricing & Cost Engineer* to join our Headquarters. In this critical role, you will be the financial gatekeeper for our large-scale B2B projects. You will bridge the gap between technical engineering and commercial profitability, ensuring that our "Engineering-Led Luxury" products are accurately costed, competitively priced, and highly profitable. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of financial acumen and deep technical expertise in woodworking design and manufacturing.### *Key Responsibilities**1. Project Costing & Pricing Strategy** Formulate comprehensive, accurate, and competitive cost estimates and pricing proposals for large-scale B2B woodworking, cabinetry, and custom furniture projects.* Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), architectural blueprints, and project specifications to determine precise direct costs (materials, labor, logistics) and indirect overheads.* Establish and monitor target gross profit margins for all assigned projects, ensuring the company’s financial objectives are strictly met.* Continuously track market fluctuations in raw material prices (solid wood, MDF, veneers, premium hardware, finishes, etc.) and update the internal costing database accordingly.*2. Technical Design & Engineering Integration** interpret, and occasionally develop detailed shop drawings and technical manufacturing details for woodworks to ensure pricing accurately reflects the required manufacturing processes.* Collaborate closely with the Technical Office and Production teams to identify the most cost-effective engineering solutions and manufacturing methods (e.g., smart nesting optimization) without compromising luxury standards.* Validate material yields and waste percentages (COPQ) factored into the pricing models.*3. Commercial Coordination** Conduct financial risk assessments for complex B2B tenders and contracts prior to management approval.* Prepare clear, professional financial breakdowns and value-engineering proposals for clients when necessary to win bids while maintaining profitability. * *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Applied Arts, Interior Design, or Industrial/Production Engineering.* *Experience:* Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in cost estimation, pricing, and technical detailing, specifically within the high-end woodworking, furniture, and fit-out industry.* *Technical Mastery:* Deep understanding of wood materials, premium hardware systems (Blum, Hettich, Salice), and modern factory production lines (CNC, Edge banding, PUR, etc.).* *Software Skills:* Expert proficiency in AutoCAD for technical detailing, coupled with advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel and costing/ERP software.* *Attributes:* Exceptional analytical mindset, zero tolerance for calculation errors, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale project bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
