Senior Procurement Engineer

The Procurement Engineer at Nawy Real Estate is responsible for managing the procurement process of engineering materials and services required for construction projects. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define requirements, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate technical specifications and identify the appropriate materials and services needed for projectsResearch potential suppliers and assess their capabilities based on quality, cost, and delivery performancePrepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) to receive bids from suppliersNegotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and contractual termsCollaborate with project managers and engineers to align procurement strategies with project needs and timelinesMonitor the procurement process from order placement to delivery and resolve any issues that may ariseMaintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities and supplier performance evaluationsEnsure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all procurement activitiesParticipate in supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiativesContribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement functionRequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field3+ years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role, preferably in the construction or real estate industryStrong understanding of engineering materials, specifications, and procurement processesExcellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
