Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team and play a key role in planning, scheduling, cost control, and project performance management across complex engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, conducting project controls analysis, identifying risks, and supporting project delivery through effective planning and reporting practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules across multiple projects and disciplinesMonitor project progress and performance against established baselines and milestonesImplement cost control methodologies, forecasting models, and Earned Value Management (EVM) techniquesConduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, and mitigation plansPrepare project status reports, executive presentations, and performance dashboardsSupport project teams in planning, resource allocation, and schedule optimization activitiesCoordinate with internal stakeholders, project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectivesDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to enhance project visibility and decision-makingMentor and support junior planners, promoting best practices in project planning and controlsParticipate in site visits as required to monitor project execution and progressRequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in EngineeringExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controlsProven experience managing schedules for complex engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or construction projectsTechnical SkillsExpert-level proficiency in Primavera P6Strong working knowledge of MS ProjectSolid understanding of project controls, cost control methodologies, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVM)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelKnowledge of Power BI and dashboard development is highly desirableCertificationsPMP certification is a strong plusLanguagesFluent English is requiredFrench language proficiency is a plusCompetenciesDemonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior team membersStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesHigh level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teams and dynamic project environmentsBenefits Annual bonus Health insurance and wellness programs Professional development and training opportunities
