Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team and play a key role in planning, scheduling, cost control, and project performance management across complex engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, conducting project controls analysis, identifying risks, and supporting project delivery through effective planning and reporting practices. Key Responsibilities Develop, integrate, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules across multiple projects and disciplines. Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines and milestones. Implement cost control methodologies, forecasting models, and Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques. Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, and mitigation plans. Prepare project status reports, executive presentations, and performance dashboards. Support project teams in planning, resource allocation, and schedule optimization activities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to enhance project visibility and decision-making. Mentor and support junior planners, promoting best practices in project planning and controls. Participate in site visits as required to monitor project execution and progress. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls. Proven experience managing schedules for complex engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or construction projects. Technical Skills Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6. Strong working knowledge of MS Project. Solid understanding of project controls, cost control methodologies, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVM). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development is highly desirable. Certifications PMP certification is a strong plus. Languages Fluent English is required. French language proficiency is a plus. Competencies Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior team members.
