We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software engineering.In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. With a focus on moving towards automation, you will be responsible for implementing automation tools and scripts to enhance our testing procedures.Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test casesExecute both manual and automated functional and non-functional tests for Web, REST API, and Mobile applicationsCollaborate in an agile environment with various teams including Development, Product, and Design to ensure comprehensive QA coverageAttend planning meetings, provide feedback on user stories, create acceptance criteria, and develop test casesAssess the status of releases, helping ensure they are timely and of the highest qualityIdentify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through our issue tracking systemPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedExplore automation opportunities and gradually integrate automated tests with manual testing processesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviewsExperience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases and bug reportsProficiency in testing for mobile web and appsExperience writing SQL, with skills in writing, troubleshooting, and validating data within SQL databasesExperience in API testing using various tools, with a solid understanding of web protocols and data formatsProgramming skills in any scripting or mainstream programming language (Javascript, Java,..)Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., playwright, Appium, Rest Assured) is a plusExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plusAbility to document and troubleshoot errorsAnalytical mind and problem-solving aptitudeISTQB certification is a plus
