Job Summary:This role ensures the stability and security of the IT infrastructure by maintaining servers, performing backups, and tracking system performance. In addition, the role handles cloud service support, applies recovery procedures, and troubleshoots technical issues to ensure service availability and data protection. The role also applies system updates, follows IT standards, and addresses user needs to enable operational continuity and infrastructure reliability across the organization.Job Responsibilities:Execute server, domain controller, and Active Directory tasks by handling backups, GPOs, user profiles, and data to meet business needs and comply with IT SLAs.Update and maintain technical documentation by recording configurations and system changes regularly to support operational continuity and troubleshooting.Perform system troubleshooting and issue resolution by collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely recovery and service availability.Conduct daily monitoring of datacenter hardware, server resources, storage, and logs by using diagnostic tools to detect and address issues proactively.Develop and implement plans for new systems or technologies by designing solutions and training technical staff to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.Apply high-availability strategies by using methods like load balancing and disaster recovery to minimize system downtime and risk.Carry out scheduled backup operations by using tools such as Veritas, WSB, NTBackup, and Veeam to protect data and ensure recovery readiness.Operate and maintain service-dedicated servers by using System Center and related tools to ensure consistent system functionality and service delivery.Track server logs and system activities by auditing for errors and potential security breaches to maintain performance and safeguard infrastructure.Support Microsoft cloud services by assisting with Exchange Online, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint to enable smooth user operations and resolve technical issues.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.3 - 5 years of experience in administering/implementing or maintaining different types of Operating systems (Microsoft products, Linux, UNIX, etc.).Hands-on experience with VMware VCP virtualization technologies.
