The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient management of financial operations, including insurance transactions, taxation, uniform inventory, and day-to-day accounting activities. The role focuses on maintaining timely and compliant financial records, overseeing tax obligations, and preparing reliable financial reports to support informed decision-making.Additionally, he/she contributes to financial analysis, ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, and supports internal and external audit processes. Timeliness of monthly closing activities (Target: 100% completed within deadline). On-time submission of VAT returns (Target: 100% compliance, zero penalties). Timely settlement of payroll and withholding taxes (Target: 100% on or before due dates). Number of audit/tax findings related to errors (Target: Zero major findings).Number of compliance violations or escalations (Target: Zero major breaches). Insurance case resolution turnaround time Financial & Tax Operations Management:Process monthly amortization journal vouchers in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor VAT accounts, process monthly payments, and submit VAT returns to the Egyptian Tax Authority. Oversee payroll tax accounts, process monthly payments, and prepare documentation for quarterly filings in coordination with the tax advisor. Monitor withholding tax accounts and ensure timely quarterly payments. Manage and record medical and life insurance transactions, ensuring accurate accounting entries. Assist in the preparation of tax examination reports.Compliance, Governance & Coordination:Ensure adherence to OFD’s values, policies, procedures, and systems. Coordinate with restaurants, Legal Affairs, and insurance providers to ensure smooth insurance operationsTeam Development & Continuous Improvement:Provide opportunities for team members to contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
