As a Senior Tooling & Mold Maintenance Engineer at Midea Group, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing tooling systems used in refrigerator manufacturing, including :-Sheet Metal DiesPlastic MoldsThermoforming MoldsPU Foaming Molds.Responsibilities iznclude:-Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activitiesTroubleshooting tooling and mold-related issues and conducting root cause analysisRepairing or replacing damaged components to ensure optimal performanceEnsuring molds and dies are properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained to prevent product defectsMaintaining and repairing molds used in the production of various plastic componentsWorking closely with production teams to optimize mold and tooling performanceDeveloping and implementing preventive maintenance plans and schedulesSupervising and training junior maintenance engineers and techniciansEnsuring compliance with safety and quality standards while minimizing downtime Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in tooling and mold maintenance (Home Appliances industry preferred)Proven experience as a Mold Maintenance Engineer or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of sheet metal stamping dies, injection molds, thermoforming molds, and PU foaming moldsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accuratelyAbility to perform physically demanding tasksAbility to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials when requiredStrong leadership and communication skills
