The role requires strong technical capability in land-use planning, urban planning coordination, development control, infrastructure integration, and preparation of planning documentation for large-scale and mixed-use developments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review master plans, land-use plans, zoning plans, development frameworks, and urban design strategies for residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and public-sector developments.Prepare site analyses, including existing conditions, opportunities and constraints, topography, access and mobility, surrounding context, environmental considerations, and infrastructure interfaces.Develop land-use budgets, area schedules, density calculations, population projections, unit yields, plot distribution plans, and development capacity assessments.Prepare detailed planning layouts, including road hierarchies, plot subdivision, open-space networks, public facilities, community amenities, and service corridors.Coordinate with architecture, landscape, infrastructure, transportation, environmental, utilities, and engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and technically feasible master planning solutions.Review architectural layouts and building footprints to confirm compliance with approved land-use allocations, plot parameters, setbacks, building heights, parking requirements, access arrangements, and development controls.Prepare planning reports, design narratives, technical memoranda, presentation materials, and authority submission documents.Support the preparation of phasing strategies, implementation plans, development guidelines, design codes, and planning regulations.Coordinate with relevant authorities, clients, stakeholders, and project teams to address planning comments and secure required approvals.Conduct quality reviews of drawings, GIS data, CAD files, land-use schedules, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.Support project managers in monitoring deliverables, coordinating inputs, identifying technical risks, and maintaining project schedules.Stay informed of applicable planning regulations, urban development standards, municipal requirements, and best practices relevant to project locations.Technical Skills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of urban planning principles, land-use planning, zoning, urban design, development controls, and master planning methodologies.Experience in preparing land-use budgets, development capacity studies, population projections, density calculations, and plot schedules.Ability to interpret and coordinate architectural, infrastructure, landscape, transportation, and utility drawings.Knowledge of road hierarchy, mobility planning, parking standards, pedestrian networks, public realm planning, and open-space systems.Familiarity with planning approval processes, authority regulations, and development submission requirements.Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.
