The Site Operations Representative is responsible for ensuring all operationalrequirements are met for the smooth start of construction work on-site. This includesobtaining necessary approvals for utilities (water, gas, electricity), preparing the sitefor mobilization, and coordinating with relevant authorities and internal teams toensure all prerequisites for starting site works are finalized. This role is vital inbridging the gap between planning and execution, ensuring that the site is ready andaccessible for construction crews and subcontractors. Utilities & Approvals Coordination Apply for and follow up on permits and approvals for water, gas, electricity,and telecom utilities with relevant government or utility authorities. Coordinate utility connections and ensure availability before the start of siteworks. Track the status of all submissions and escalate delays or issues as needed. Site Preparation & Readiness Inspect and coordinate initial site clearance, fencing, signage, and temporaryfacilities (offices, toilets, etc.). Ensure access roads, delivery zones, and material storage areas areprepared and compliant with safety requirements. Coordinate with safety teams for hazard identification and initial HSE setup. Cross-Department Coordination Act as a liaison between operations, construction, HSE, and subcontractors toensure aligned site mobilization plans. Facilitate site handover and readiness checklists in coordination with projectengineers and project managers. Schedule and document pre-construction coordination meetings. Documentation & Reporting Maintain a tracker for all utility applications, permits, and follow-up actions. Prepare daily or weekly reports on site operational readiness and utilitystatuses. Document interactions with utility providers and relevant approvals for auditand compliance. Stakeholder & Government Liaison Build working relationships with municipal officers, utility companyrepresentatives, and local stakeholders. Ensure all activities are aligned with local authority requirements, zoning laws,and environmental standards.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law , diploma with experience may be considered. 3+ years of experience in site coordination, construction operations, orinfrastructure setup. Own car is must Familiarity with utility connection processes in Egypt (or relevant region). Strong communication and negotiation skills with public authorities and utilitycompanies. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with projecttracking tools is a plus.
