The application deadline is Saturday 4 July 2026.Role Description The Social Media Content Creator and Moderator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to showcase Torasna’s heritage projects and destinations. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, producing photo and video content, writing captions and short-form copy, and adapting content to each platform’s best practices. The Social Media Content Creator and Moderator will monitor channel performance, track engagement, and propose improvements based on data and audience insights. The role also involves collaborating with project teams, designers, and marketing colleagues, covering on-site events and activations, and ensuring brand consistency in all social media communications.Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation & StorytellingCreate written, visual, and multimedia content for social media, websites, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.Write captions, articles, event descriptions, and promotional copy.Capture and produce content during events, activations, and project activities.Edit short-form videos for digital platforms, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with brand standards.Support storytelling that highlights Torasna's destinations, projects, events, and community initiatives.2. Community Management & ModerationMonitor and moderate social media channels and online communities.Respond to audience inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.Foster positive engagement and meaningful conversations across platforms.Escalate sensitive issues or complaints appropriately.Monitor online sentiment and audience feedback.3. Social Media & Digital EngagementSupport the planning and scheduling of content calendars.Track trends, audience interests, and emerging digital opportunities.Assist in growing online audiences and increasing engagement rates.Support campaign execution across multiple digital channels.Coordinate content publishing and platform management activities.4. Content Production SupportCollaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and project teams to develop content assets.Assist with photography, videography, and basic content editing when required.Coordinate content collection during events, activations, and project activities.Support live coverage of events and destination activities.5. Reporting & Performance MonitoringMonitor content performance and engagement metrics.Prepare reports and insights on audience growth and digital performance.Contribute recommendations for improving content effectiveness and audience engagement.Support continuous improvement of digital communication strategies.Key CompetenciesStrong storytelling, writing, and editing skills.Proficiency in social media content creation and community management.Ability to create, edit, and optimize video content for digital platforms.Familiarity with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar software.Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Professional communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, or community management.Strong portfolio demonstrating written, visual, and multimedia content creation.Experience managing social media platforms and online communities.Practical experience in photography, videography, photo editing, and video editing for digital content.Familiarity with content scheduling, analytics, and social media management tools.Experience in culture, heritage, tourism, events, hospitality, or community-focused projects is an advantage.
