About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Software Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in mobile automation testing using Appium to join our quality engineering team.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for mobile applications that power our digital banking platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.Key ResponsibilitiesTest AutomationDesign and develop automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for scalable testing.Mobile TestingExecute automated tests across Android and iOS platforms.Ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications.Test Strategy & ExecutionDevelop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems.CI/CD IntegrationIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.CollaborationWork closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.Required QualificationsExperience3+ years of experience in software testing2+ years of experience in automation testingTechnical SkillsAppiumMobile test automationJava / JavaScript / Python (for automation scripting)Test frameworks and automation toolsREST API testingMobile PlatformsExperience testing Android and iOS applicationsProfessional SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience working in Agile environmentsStrong collaboration and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience testing mobile banking or fintech applicationsExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar)Experience with test reporting toolsKnowledge of performance or security testing
