Software QC Team Lead

About the roleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Lead QC professional to own the quality perspective across projects, squads, and releases. This role is ideal for someone who can combine hands-on testing leadership with team guidance, stakeholder communication, and continuous process improvement.What you will do• Lead end-to-end QC activities across assigned products, projects, or squads.• Review requirements and define the test approach, coverage priorities, and quality checkpoints.• Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, execution plans, and defect reports.• Own defect triage follow-up and communicate quality status, risks, blockers, and release readiness.• Mentor team members and drive consistency in testing standards, reporting, and execution quality.• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, DevOps, Support, and business stakeholders.What we are looking for• Strong experience in software testing, quality control, or quality assurance.• Previous experience in a senior QC, QA lead, or team lead role.• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and release validation practices.• Practical experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.• Confidence in stakeholder communication, prioritization, reporting, and team coordination.• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Postman, or similar tools is a plus.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.ExperienceProven background in software quality control with clear ownership of planning, execution, and reporting.Domain ExposureExposure to fintech, payments, e-commerce, ERP, or enterprise systems is highly valued.Added ValueKnowledge of API testing, automation collaboration, and quality metrics will be a strong advantage.
