We make what matters work.To Find Out More About Us Checkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7EThe Specification & Technical Support Engineer will act as a technical advisor and solution expert, bridging the gap between partners, customers, and internal teams to demonstrate product value and ensure solutions meet customer and project requirements.The role is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to customers and channel partners, including solution design, technical validation, quotation preparation, and resolution of technical issues.Working closely with the sales team, the engineer will understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and clearly demonstrate how Eaton products and solutions address client challenges and life safety needs.Additionally, the role serves as the company’s technical interface with consultants, designers, and specifiers, presenting Eaton solutions and collaborating with their technical teams during project design, specification, and approval stages.This position involves close engagement with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, support successful project execution, and ensure long-term satisfaction with Eaton’s products and services.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design solutions to align with customer requirements, projects’ specifications and industry best practicesRespond to technical queries during sales meetings and assist in RFP/RFI responsesCollaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and feasible implementation planningPrepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops tailored to client specificationsProvide feedback from clients to influence product development and enhancementsSupport sales teams in closing deals by validating technical feasibility and demonstrating solution fitAssist in training sales teams and channel partners on product features, benefits, and competitive advantagesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, industry professionals, and end usersEnsure timely and accurate quotations to address projects/opportunities in assigned areasActively get involved with consultants in tender specification of large projects, drive specifications, and convert into leadsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university4-6 years of professional experience in a similar role within Life Safety, Emergency Lighting (EML), Central Battery Systems (CBS), or safety industryProven experience working with consultants, designers, specifiers, and end usersStrong understanding of project specifications, tender processes, and design approvalsExperience supporting sales teams through technical validation and solution designFluency in English and Arabic is mandatorySkillsStrong technical knowledge of:Emergency lighting systemsExit signsCentral battery systemsLife safety solutions and applicable standardsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to translate customer and project requirements into compliant technical solutionsStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teamsProficient in computer applications, CRM systems, and design/engineering toolsCustomer‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building skillsWhat We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package – including health insurance and transportation allowance!
