RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders to deeply understand challenges and identify opportunities. Own the end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, from problem framing to production deployment and continuous improvement, working within Agile/SAFe ways of working. Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models to extract insights, predict trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions and develop new ones. Lead the development of proof-of-concept solutions and ensure their scalability across multiple markets. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business experts, to ensure robust, scalable, and production-ready solutions. Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing solutions and propose new data-driven initiatives that deliver measurable business value. Contribute to building and scaling a high-performing data science team, acting as a technical reference point, driving best practices, and supporting the development of other data scientists. ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS? 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics roles, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade solutions Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark, with the ability robust, well-structured, and efficient code that balances readability and performance Solid understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation, with the ability to apply the right approach to real-world business problems Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing, as well as cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure & Databricks) Proven experience in owning projects end-to-end, from business understanding to deployment and impact measurement Demonstrated ability to build scalable solutions that go beyond one-off analyses or prototypes Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions and propose new data-driven strategies Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and collaborate effectively with other team members and external vendors Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, with experience in leading and guiding other data scientists Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills, with the ability effectively interact and influence stakeholders, translating technical concepts into analytical approaches and business impact Experience in CPG, retail, or commercial analytics (e.g. route-to-market, assortment) is a strong advantage BSc or MSc, in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field
