Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Sr. QC Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Working closely with development and product teams, the Sr. QC Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation efforts. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and issues. Analyze and report defects clearly, collaborating with developers to facilitate timely resolution. Participate in review meetings and provide inputs on quality improvements. Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks. Ensure consistency in test documentation and adherence to quality standards. Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team. Work within Agile development environments to support iterative testing and delivery. Private Health Insurance Training & Development Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years in software quality assurance, preferably in a senior role. Technical Skills : Strong expertise in software testing methodologies, both manual and automated. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus. Soft Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Certifications (Preferred): ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification in software testing.
